TÜRKAK’s activities for the AS9100 series were unanimously approved by the European Aerospace and Defence Quality Group (EAQG) and gained international recognition. With the National Aviation Industry Committee (MIHENK), which was established as a result of the long-term efforts of our SAHA Istanbul Test and Certification Committee, Türkiye has become one of the 13 countries of the European Civil Aviation Quality Authority (EAQG) under the World Civil Aviation Quality Authority (IAQG), and the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) has integrated into the European Civil Aviation Quality system through this established SAHA MIHENK structure and has become able to accredit our national companies to issue AS/9100 series qualification certificates. One of SAHA Istanbul’s important services to the country has been completed and put into use.
