About IAQG
The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) is a non-profit international organization established in 1998 under the umbrella of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
IAQG is responsible for defining the quality standard in the global supply chain of the aerospace and space industry. The organization consists of member companies in the aerospace, space, and defense sectors that are involved in designing, developing, manufacturing, and supporting original equipment at the system or subsystem level. IAQG is dedicated to fostering the partnership of quality systems and improvement standards. These standards are documented, published, and internationally applied by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributed throughout the supply chain.
About EAQG
EAQG is a cooperative organization representing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa within the aerospace industry in Europe.
EAQG (European Aerospace Quality Group) is the European sector of IAQG and is a collaborative European global organization of companies involved in providing aerospace, space, and defense products and services (including 24 IAQG European Major Companies, 8 EAQG Affiliated European Companies, and 8 National Trade Associations). Its aim is to establish and maintain a dynamic collaboration based on trust among international aerospace and space companies, implementing initiatives that lead to significant improvements in quality and cost reductions.
SAHA İstanbul (National Aerospace Industrial Association (NAIA)
SAHA Istanbul is a nonprofit organization focused on the Defense, Aerospace, and Space Cluster. Its mission is to enhance the technological and sectoral capabilities of its members in the Turkish defense, aerospace, and space sectors, increase domestic production rates, acquire critical technologies not yet possessed, and elevate international competitiveness. SAHA Istanbul aims to foster collaboration among its members and create a strong ecosystem. The National Aerospace Industry Committee, with the support of member companies and collaborating organizations under SAHA Istanbul Cluster, represents the Turkish National Aerospace, Space, and Defense Industry. Its purpose is to ensure Turkey’s involvement and influence in the determination, management, and oversight processes of aerospace standards.
Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK)
The Turkish Accreditation Agency, abbreviated as TÜRKAK, was established on October 27, 1999, with its headquarters in Ankara. TÜRKAK aims to accredit conformity assessment bodies, ensure their compliance with national and international standards, and facilitate the acceptance of certificates issued by these bodies at national and international levels. TÜRKAK is a non-profit, legal entity with administrative and financial autonomy, operating under the provisions of private law and under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It functions as a special budgetary public institution.
Through the four-year efforts of the MİHENK Committee, TÜRKAK has gained the capability to accredit domestic companies that can establish the AS9100 aviation qualification system. This accreditation authority (Accreditation Body), approved by the European Aerospace Quality Group (EAQG), enables TÜRKAK to grant certification powers to qualified domestic firms.
